FloSpace FloPrompter 2.1 Released
I’m pleased to announce the latest release of FloSpace FloPrompter, the most gorgeous and innovative teleprompter your PC will ever see!
Version 2.1 is a relatively minor upgrade to the software and includes:
- Microsoft Office 2007 UI License Tweaks: The gorgeous new look of the FloPrompter 2.xx software was inspired by the Office 2007 design style. What’s cool is that Microsoft allows third party vendors like FloSpace to license the design style for free. Yay! Of course, that free license does come with certain conditions… So I spent quite a bit of time going through several Microsoft documents and reading through the hundreds of licensing conditions trying to figure out what’s required, what’s optional — and where I needed to modify FloPrompter to be compliant. The good news is that there were only a few tweaks that needed to be made, so most folks won’t even notice.
- Bug Fixes: There were a few annoying little bugs that I squashed with this release. Thankfully, none of them were fatal. One of the bugs that were fixed involved one of the user settings which had not been used correctly.
Upgrade Recommendation: If you wish. This is a “soft recommendation” to upgrade. Enhancements made to version 2.1 were all fairly minor or cosmetic, so most folks won’t notice the difference. If you decide to upgrade, this is, of course, a free upgrade for all FloPrompter customers! FloPrompter customers are always requested to download the latest version on the FloSpace Downloads page.
